Weniger Offenheit? Weniger Vielfalt? Weniger Kultur? Wir sagen ganz klar NEIN zur sogenannten «Nachhaltigkeitsinitiative» (10-Millionen-Schweiz) ❌.

Die Initiative verkauft Abschottung als Lösung. Sie nimmt die Kündigung internationaler Abkommen und der Personenfreizügigkeit mit der EU in Kauf – und führt in Wahrheit nur zu einem Abbau von Offenheit, Austausch und kultureller Vielfalt. Kultur hingegen braucht Perspektiven, die aufeinandertreffen. Sie braucht Mobilität.

🔸Since 1984 far° Nyon is known for its live arts festival which takes place each August for ten days. The aim of the festival is to present projects by artists from the contemporary performing arts scene from Switzerland and abroad. Audiences can see circus and dance performances, theatre productions, performances, exhibitions and open-air concerts, as well as take part in group discussions such as workshops and audience meetings. Since 2018, far° has two temporalities: its activities extend from September to July under the name of fabrique des arts vivants, whose main axes are support for creation – and more specifically for emerging contemporary artists – hosting artist residencies, long-term artistic accompaniment as well as mediation and cultural participation initiatives.

La soi-disant « initiative pour la durabilité » (Pas de Suisse à 10 millions) vend le repli sur soi comme une solution. Elle accepte la résiliation des accords internationaux et de la libre circulation des personnes avec l’UE — et compromet en réalité uniquement l’ouverture, les échanges et de la diversité culturelle.

La culture vit de la rencontre entre différentes perspectives et a besoin de mobilité. Et elle crée des liens là où la politique divise. ❤️ C’est pourquoi artlink s’engage depuis plus de 40 ans en faveur de la diversité culturelle. Et c’est pourquoi nous disons clairement NON à cette initiative ❌.

✍ Sahar Tavakoli ist eine iranische Schriftstellerin, Fotografin und Übersetzerin. Sie hat zahlreiche Bücher geschrieben und verschiedene englischsprachige Autor:innen ins Persische übersetzt. Für ihre Arbeit ist sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet worden. Vor zwanzig Jahren hat sie mit ihrem Mann in Teheran den Dastan-Verlag gegründet. 2023 geriet sie im Iran ins Visier des Regimes – und entschied sich zur Flucht in die Schweiz. @ sahartavakoli.t
