Hello Bassoonists and Happy New Year
I'm excited to announce that as part of my online activities this year I will host 12 masterclasses, that's right one a month, each with top historical bassoonists performing in Europe and North America right now.
Link to the Masterclass Website: https://bassoonafternoon.com
Our clinicians this year include:
Elena Bianchi, Donna Agrell, Mathieu Lussier, Dominic Teresi, Tomasz Wesołowski, Isabel Favilla, Giulia Genini, Javier Zafra, Lisa Goldberg, Peter Whelan, and Giovanni Battista Graziadio .
With some exceptions, most masterclasses will take place on the Second Sunday of each month in the late afternoon here in Europe, and in the morning or late morning in North America.
These masterclasses will take place via zoom, and if you would like to attend then please sign up as a Patron via my patreon account (the link is below). All details, links, scores, etc. will be shared via that feed. If you would like to play in a masterclass, priority will always be given to those who sign up to the practice circle tier. If, of course, there is room for more players, then it will be possible for those in the patron tier to sign up to play.
Those in the practice circle have access to extra assignments and curiosities, as well as everything that I've been doing in the last 18 months including the baroque orchestral excerpt videos, and the ozi project material. There are also a number of useful things available to the practice circle tier like fi*****ng charts.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
The First Masterclass this year will be on January 23rd with Montreal-based bassoonist and Artistic Director of Arion Baroque Orchestra, Mathieu Lussier
