Dear all
As of last night, the Rhine River Rebels has become part of history. After 25 years, we have dissolved: a decision that weighs heavily on all of us. It is painful to let go of something that has been such an important part of our lives for so long. Yet every community has its time, and ours has left many traces that will remain.
Thank you for countless highlights, for all the special moments and experiences we were able to share over these 25 years. What we created together connects us far beyond Basel and the USA. Encounters turned into friendships. Genuine, lasting, heartfelt friendships that go far beyond the work of the association.
In recent years, we have also lost beloved members. Their place in our community will remain forever. They live on in our memories, in our stories, in our music – and in the spirit that has always carried us.
We wish all corps in Basel and the USA nothing but the very best. May fifing and drumming continue to thrive: powerful, passionate, and full of heart, just as we were fortunate to experience it throughout all these years.
And even though the association is now part of the past: We will always be happy to see you again
