Hear Me Out Yellowknife

Hear Me Out Yellowknife HEAR ME OUT! Is a series of free workshops for youth to learn and express themselves through arts. Registration Link: https://forms.gle/UY7VxRVmMvmDRHfS8

Is a series of free workshops for youth to rediscover/discover their culture and express themselves in different forms of art. All forms of art are welcome but we will mainly focus on written, oral, and visual forms of art which includes music, creative writing, and drawing. This is an opportunity for YOUth to be heard. A pop-up recording studio will be set-up on-site as well! Travel to and from will be supported too (via City Cab vouchers)! Each workshop will explore different themes around culture, mental health, and your own personal identity. At each workshop we will do collaborative writing which can either be part of a collaborative song or a stand alone written piece (e.g. a poem, a story, etc.). Each workshop will have writing mentors. Expect guest speakers throughout the year to deliver expertise in different areas.
