Hi everyone! I just realized I forgot to hand out the certificates of completion at our final class — I’m so sorry about that!

The kids worked so hard and absolutely deserve them. If you’d be interested in picking up your child’s certificate, please send me a message and we can arrange a time that works.

As this program comes to an end, I just want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your continued support and for being such an important part of this experience. It truly means so much.

I really hope the kids are leaving with a better understanding of the fundamentals of art and, most importantly, a little more confidence in their creativity. Watching their growth over these weeks has been such a rewarding experience.

I had an amazing time teaching this group—it’s also been a HUGE learning experience for me. I’m already looking forward to making a few small improvements to the next program so everything runs even more smoothly.

I would have loved for the art show to go a little more smoothly and to have gotten a group photo of everyone together—but that’s okay! I was able to capture some special moments during class, and I’m so proud of each and every one of the kids.

Thank you again for being part of this journey. Your encouragement and involvement made all the difference. Wishing you and your families all the best, and I hope to see you again in future programs!

🎨 Final Art Class 🎨

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final class! This has been such a fun and rewarding experience, and I’m so proud of all the kids and the progress they’ve made.

For our last class, students will be taking home their sketchbooks and pencil cases. I kindly ask that parents arrive 10 minutes early so we can hold a mini art show and celebrate all of their amazing work together. At the end of the class, each child will also receive a certificate of completion.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been involved and supportive throughout this program. My biggest hope is that each child has learned something new and built more confidence in their creativity.

A special thank you to all the parents as well—I truly appreciate your support. Stay tuned for future programs and events!

Week 5 is here! 🎨 We’ll be learning shading this week—water bottles are suggested.

This is the second-to-last class, and I’m so grateful for all the support. I’m already planning the next program!

One more class after this—the kids will create a final canvas masterpiece, and parents can come in for the last 10 minutes to see their work for a mini Art show ! They’ll also be taking home their pencil cases, drawing pads, and all their artwork.

Week 4 is complete and it went so well! 🎨

I’ve been seeing some really great work from the kids each week, and it’s been amazing watching their creativity grow and confidence build.

Today marks the halfway point of Arts with Kristen! 🎨

This week was all about colour theory—learning how to mix colours using a colour wheel and paint. It was a busy night, and I’m so proud of each of the kids and the effort they put in!

Another successful art class night! 🎨

Tonight, we focused on turning 2D shapes into 3D drawings, followed by step-by-step instructions on how to create faces. I hope all the kids left feeling like they learned something new!

My only regret is forgetting to take photos of everyone hard at work—but I guess that just means I was busy helping them 😊
