Inkpractice finished up last night.

Ben Reilly era Spider-Man (back when Pete was retired to have a kid with MJ before Gobbo dropped the bomb that ben was actually the clone then melted him...)

Original Pencils by

Inking done with 0.38 and 0.65 mm with the included converters and filled with Platinum Brand Carbon Black Ink

Final scan and blueline removal done with Epson V39-II scanner.

Cleanup done on Veik2200 Pro in ClipStudioPaint

So some xmas gift cards plus gettin rid of a few toys on marketplace...got a new tool for the art arsenal that ive had my eye on for a bit VEIKK 2200 Pro

Gonna take a bit to learn Krita when I'm used to procreate, and getting used to the pen, plus all the space, hotkeys and everythin' else when I'm so used to apple pencil.
Any guesses as to what my first piece on it is?

Finished side by side of my initial inks on a repro of Paco Medina pencils for an Xmen cover on 11x17 poster stock. On the left was the original from the first week or so of november, the one on the right was finished last night.

Gives a great insight into my thought process and how I do things.

Honestly I love inking.

Little bit farther along with inkpractice on Paco Medina Xmen cover...cut short by technical difficulties

Brush and tech pen to finish it off I suppose. At least until i can reseat and glue the nib holder.

More progress on the linework for that omen cover by Paco Medina I had printed out to practice on.

Definitely different doing it this time around with a quill rather than pigment liners.

Unfortunately the paper is pretty soft and the fibers keep catching causing some bleeding. Overall though the lines are looking much better than they did my first time out on this piece.

Looking forward to seeing it completed.
