Windsor Dance eXperience Windsor Dance eXperience Inc. (WDX) is a non-profit theatrical dance company dedicated to giving local kids an outlet for creative and physical activities.

Windsor Dance eXperience aims to provide the ultimate theatrical experience to anyone who has the heart and love for the arts. Whether performing, working backstage or enjoying a performance, WDX is an experience for everyone. Windsor Dance eXperience believes in understanding its members and recognizes them as individuals with unique ideas and styles. WDX encourages everyone, young and old, to come out and enjoy performing. The company exists so that those who haven't the means or outlet to dance can now do so. All Ages and abilities are welcome and included; experience is not required, it is given. WDX provides a positive pastime for youths and a great learning environment for acting and dancing. There are many opportunities to work in all aspects of theatre: backstage, costume design and set construction, and last but not least, performing experience. Additionally, youths are able to gain volunteer experience for all the time that they put in assisting the company.

This week we would like to recognize Euan Fairlie from the junior company and Alyse Racine from the intermediate company as our Dancers of the Week!🙌

Euan was engaged, present and ready to jump into his understudy role at the drop of a hat. He was very brave and put his best foot forward in front of the whole company by jumping into multiple parts and making them work. Thank you for your quick thinking and readiness, Euan!🕺

Alyse had a big week: learning a contemporary piece on Wednesday, attending an extra Acro class on Thursday and learning a physically demanding Russian piece on Friday. The moves were difficult but she remained everyone’s biggest cheerleader. On Saturday she was a stellar junior instructor, implementing quick thinking and positive reinforcement. She still had so much to give for her full run-through rehearsal in the afternoon where she was fully present with mind, body and face! Thank you for all you do!🫶
