Windsor Dance eXperience Inc. (WDX) is a non-profit theatrical dance company dedicated to giving local kids an outlet for creative and physical activities.

Windsor Dance eXperience aims to provide the ultimate theatrical experience to anyone who has the heart and love for the arts. Whether performing, working backstage or enjoying a performance, WDX is an experience for everyone. Windsor Dance eXperience believes in understanding its members and recognizes them as individuals with unique ideas and styles. WDX encourages everyone, young and old, to c

ome out and enjoy performing. The company exists so that those who haven't the means or outlet to dance can now do so. All Ages and abilities are welcome and included; experience is not required, it is given. WDX provides a positive pastime for youths and a great learning environment for acting and dancing. There are many opportunities to work in all aspects of theatre: backstage, costume design and set construction, and last but not least, performing experience. Additionally, youths are able to gain volunteer experience for all the time that they put in assisting the company.

We have had an overwhelming response to auditions for our Holiday spectacular "Land of the Beats" so we will be closing auditions early on Sunday, September 6th. This is your last week to register for auditions!
We are still looking for Breakdancers, Belly dancers and Bollywood dancers.
This is a very urbanized retelling of "The Nutcracker" so we will be including other styles such as tango, Latin hip-hop, Chinese, Afrobeats, Funk, Acro, Swing as well as hip-hop, jazz, ballet and contemporary. This production will be performed at the Capitol Theatre in December 2026.

✨WE’RE OPENING THE DOORS TO OUR NEW HOME!✨

This summer has been a big one for Windsor Dance eXperience. Behind the scenes, there have been boxes being packed, renovations, planning, building, organizing, painting (and so much more!), all to turn a new space into a place our dancers and community can call home.

Now, we’re finally ready to celebrate it with all of you. 💜

Join us on Friday, September 4th for the Grand Opening of our new WDX studio at 1519 Wyandotte St E!

Drop by, grab a bite & spend some time with us! We’ll also be holding our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5:45 PM.

💃 6:00 Onwards | Dance With Us!
Stick around and take a class (or a few!) throughout the evening. Classes will be offered by donation, so choose whatever catches your eye and come dance with us. All donations directly support Windsor Dance eXperience and the next chapter in our new home.

Whether you’ve danced with WDX for years, have supported us from the audience, are thinking about joining us for the first time, or simply want to see what we’re all about, we’d love to have you there.

This new space represents so much more than a move. It’s a fresh chapter for WDX and another place for our dancers to learn, create, perform, connect and grow.

We can’t wait to fill it with all of you. 💜

We’re still going with our Summer Donation Campaign as we continue to move into our new studio space.

Relocating is a huge step for Windsor Dance eXperience, and every donation helps us cover the costs of creating a space where our dancers can continue to learn, create, and perform for years to come.

Before we head into our 2026–2027 season, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the businesses and community partners who supported Windsor Dance eXperience throughout our 2025–2026 season.

Workshop Week is here. 🔥

We are so excited to officially kick off our Summer Guest Workshop Series and welcome two incredible artists to Windsor Dance eXperience over the next week.

Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself, train with industry professionals, explore new styles, or simply keep your momentum going this summer, these workshops are an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired.
