Our coffee’s unique taste and aroma are the result of lush soil, high altitude, and traditional processing methods. At an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, Colombia’s volcanic mountains are home to the greatest biodiversity in the world. The region’s birds, bees, and butterflies work together to pollinate the coffee plants, providing each harvest with unique attributes. To ensure the highe

st quality for the Canadian market, every Montañeros coffee bean is grown in a micro-lot, harvested by hand, and selected among only the best beans. This all happens in the village of Patio Bonito in the municipality of Samaná, department of Caldas, Colombia, where we produce our coffee and where, many years ago, this passion for coffee was born. This passion is in our blood. It was passed to us by the many generations of coffee growers in our family. Now we share this legacy with you.

Unfortunately, tomorrow’s Farmers Market has been cancelled due to the wildfire smoke and poor air quality.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by these fires. This is much bigger than a cancelled market—it impacts families, firefighters, communities, wildlife, and so many small businesses. Many people and animals are facing heartbreaking losses, and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.

We hope the air quality improves soon and that everyone stays safe. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you again at the market as soon as it’s safe to return. ❤️
