It’s hard to believe it’s been 17 years since I lost my good friend and mentor, Kerry Brown.
The stories we created, the miles we travelled, playing Don’t take the girl for hours, the laughs we had and the memories we made could easily fill a very big book.
It was an incredible time in my life—one that I will always cherish.
Kerry wasn’t just a friend. He was someone I learned from, both inside and outside the wrestling business. A lot of the wrestling knowledge I carried forward throughout my career came from the time I spent with this man.
Seventeen years later, the memories are still there, and so is the respect.
Kerry’s name also continues to live on through CWF Canada. Every year, we proudly hold The Kerry Brown Memorial Rumble in his honour.
It’s our way of making sure that his name, his contribution to professional wrestling, and the impact he had on so many of us are never forgotten.
I’m grateful for the time we had, the lessons you taught me, and all those crazy stories that will stay with me forever.
Rest in peace, my friend.
RIP Kerry Brown.
17 years gone, but never forgotten. ❤️
