There are so many black composers, instrumentalists, & vocalists who’ve been forgotten. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. It feels only right to share their stories.

The most incredible time in Guyana! 🇬🇾 🇬🇾 🇬🇾 Great to see family (my dad is from Georgetown) eat the BEST food in all of the West Indies (yeah I said what I said…) go to Kaieteur falls, perform, work with the AMAZING students. Loaded up the suitcase with casareep and solara (if you know you know). This year’s pepper pot about to be unreal …… 🫶🏽
