First off, we would like to thank all of the people who volunteered their time towards another successful year of Dodge City Days Rodeo. We couldn’t do it without the generosity of our community.

Each shift and volunteer position got an entry into the draw, and the winner of the cooler full of booze is Sam Wolf!!

Sam showed up in the week leading up to the rodeo with a light plant and his tractor to work the ground for us until it was perfect. He stuck around and helped wire panels and pull plexiglass. None of which was asked of him and all of which made such a huge difference to our preparations!

Thank you doesn’t seem enough Sam, so we hope the cooler of drinks helps show our appreciation.

This weekend, the 2026 Canadian Cowboys Association season & Wheat City Cowtown Eastern Circuit Finals Qualifier Tour continues with two big roughstock stops in Saskatchewan! Arcola and Wapella are set for back to back nights of rodeo action as contestants battle for their share of the prize money and valuable Eastern Circuit earnings on the road to the Finals.

The stock is loaded, the contestants are ready and it’s shaping up to be a great weekend of roughstock action!

First stop is Arcola, SK for the 9th Roughstock Rodeo on Friday night!

Then on Saturday, we’re making our way to Wapella, SK for the Dodge City Days Roughstock!

With both rodeos serving as Wheat City Cowtown Eastern Circuit Finals Qualifiers, every dollar won matters as contestants look to climb the earnings standings and secure their spot at the Eastern Circuit Finals!

Two towns. Two nights. Plenty of roughstock action. We’ll see you there!
