‘Another Time , Another Place’ has now been professionally captured by PrintLab Victoria. And I couldn’t be happier with the results. A limited run of ten prints ( 20x24) will be processed at a retail of $115 plus postage. However any size can be processed upon special request.
The original is available for purchase at regular pricing. And because I believe that everyone should own art I do offer a dynamic payment plan.

Another Time, Another Place

When I began this painting, I was thinking about an evening in the mid-1980s with friends—sitting by a fire down by the river, eventually deciding to go skinny dipping under the night sky.

But as the work unfolded, it took on a life of its own. I found myself drawn more to its quiet loneliness, to the way the trees held the light. The moon began to tell a different story—not just of memory, but of a teenager beginning to understand himself.

At the time, I had no idea what the future would hold. But I took the plunge—I jumped into the deep end.

In many ways, this painting has become about courage. About taking risks in dark, uncertain moments. Much like that teenager, jumping into the river under the moonlight, years ago, in another world entirely.

This piece will be heading to PrintLab next week to be professionally scanned for prints. As always, both the original and prints will be available.

‘One September Day’ 18x24 acrylic on canvas. First full finished painting for 2026. It’s taken awhile to complete. It’s changed directions (as most of my work does) several times. I wanted to experiment with colour and light, not just composition for this new piece. I wanted to take my audience to somewhere I go to centre myself a memory of a September day when I was at piece with everything. A reminder to myself to know who I am again and where I’m going. I hope you enjoy. This will be going to the printer soon for a scan/catalogue for future prints.

They will undoubtedly be a better fit in your home than in mine. If you prefer a reproduction, I also offer giclée prints of all my work, including sold pieces.
