Here's an update on what Sawchuk Development will be working on next to bring you the Greater Vernon Cultural center!

Concrete foundations are underway with completion in January 2026!

Steel fabrication is in progress (off-site), with arrival on-site targeted for February 2026!!

A lot has been happening on the Greater Vernon Cultural Center construction site recently. Check this out:

✅ Completion of excavation for foundation and preparation of site

✅ Installation of the civil utility connections and water detention tanks

✅Construction of the foundations for the passenger and freight elevators

Underground services are going in so watch for detours downtown around 31st Avenue from Oct. 14 to 26

Vernon residents and motorists are being advised of a temporary road closure on 31 Avenue between 29th and 30th streets to facilitate utility connections for the Greater Vernon Cultural Centre which i
