Surgical cuts beat boosts in techno. Most producers reach for +3dB on a synth, but your mix gets muddy fast.

Instead: Find the frequency that's fighting (usually 250-500Hz for bass clash), drop a narrow Q EQ to -2dB, and pull it down. One cut saves your headroom and keeps things tight.
