Most vocal fatigue isn’t because you’re “singing too much.” 🎤

It’s because there’s tension and imbalance in the way the voice is being coordinated.

Pushing for volume, forcing release, overworking certain muscles — all of that adds up. ⚠️
And that’s usually why the voice feels inconsistent, why some days things work and other days they don’t, even when you think you’re doing the same thing.

Real freedom in the voice doesn’t come from tricks.
It comes from structure. 🧠
From knowing your coordination is solid and you’re not fighting your instrument.

If this resonated, it probably means you’re ready to stop guessing and actually build that foundation.

Comment SYSTEM if you want to learn how I approach this. ✨

Bad voice days happen to all of us.
Sore throat, raspy sound, talked too much, woke up hoarse — even when you’re doing everything “right.”

Most singers make these days worse by pushing harder or trying to sing the same way they do on a good day.

On days like this, the goal isn’t performance.
It’s low-demand recovery and coordination.

If your voice feels tight, unresponsive, or “not alive,” change the task instead of forcing the result.

Try the Wah exercise in the video to gently re-engage your voice at a low demand level and notice what shifts.

If bad voice days keep showing up and you want more structure in your practice, comment “CHANGE” and I’ll send you my 3-step starter guide for building connection and balance in your singing without overworking.

Check out Valeria’s incredible results after only 3 months of working together!

Working hand in hand was exactly the kind of support she needed to gain control over her voice and build trust in herself.

Lots of singers think getting a few vocal exercises right is the only thing left to fix, but the reality is that vocal training is a process of building trust and crafting your most authentic expression and identity — where you can truly emote and vocalize the way you’re meant to. That’s where personalized training comes into place.

Comment "VOX" if you’re ready to transform your voice like Valeria and get that push in your music career 🚀🎤

Most artists don’t fail because they lack talent.
They stall because they avoid the uncomfortable work.

Your voice is not a side quest. It is the instrument.
Ignore it long enough and it will eventually limit your confidence, consistency, and career options.

What Kevin is talking about here is something I see constantly with singers:
waiting until damage, frustration, or burnout forces them to take their voice seriously.

The smartest artists play the long game.
They train before problems show up.
They build technique that protects their sound, expands their range, and gives them freedom on stage and in the studio.

Your voice is a living system. Treat it like one.
Invest in it early. Maintain it consistently. Respect it long-term.

Your voice has a mind of its own… literally. 😏🎤

If tension, fear, or bad habits are running the show, no amount of “practice harder” will fix it.

Styling is one of the most powerful ways to completely win over an audience when performing live.
But have you ever stopped to think about what the most common vocal styling techniques actually are today?

In this short snippet from a 1:1 vocal coaching session with one of my students, I break it down for you.

To simplify things, we can distinguish 3 main vocal styling techniques:

🧈 Vocal Texture
This refers to a vocal sound quality that can sometimes be innate to your voice. Examples include breathiness, vocal fry (light distortion), growl, or laryngeal-constriction–driven distortion. These textures add character and emotional weight when used intentionally.

🔤 Vowel Modification
Vowel modification involves changing the shape of standard vowel sounds in the language you’re singing in.
In English, the primary vowel letters are A, E, I, O, U — each with a more closed and more open variation.

For example, if you’re singing an "E" vowel, its more closed relative would be ɪ.
Now, depending on the melody and where that vowel sits in your range, you may need to reshape it to accommodate the register you’re singing in.

If you’re singing the word "see" through your first passaggio, you might modify it toward something closer to “sɛe” to release mouth resonance and avoid squeezing.

🗣️ Tone
Tone changes are achieved by manipulating your laryngeal position. Your larynx houses your vocal folds and can sit in three general positions: high, low, or neutral.

Neutral is the default position in speech — and it should also be the foundation of healthy singing. From there, subtle shifts can be used stylistically without creating tension.

If you’ve ever thought, "That song’s just too high for me". I’ll take that one off my set list — this one’s for you👇

It’s not about forcing your tone live to sound like your favorite artist or belting harder through that chorus— it’s about learning to MIX💫

Mix is the blend of resonances that connects your voice from bottom to top seamlessly — giving you freedom, control, dynamics, and ownership to craft your most unique vocal tone (not a copy of someone else’s).

When you find your mix, singing starts to feel effortless… and your audience feels that authenticity too. 🎤✨

You get to perform those crazy big songs at your next show, unlock more creative freedom with your original music, and feel unlimited every time you just wanna SING. ❤️

Now — are you ready to stop holding back?

👇 Comment "MIX" if you’re ready to finally learn how to mix and unlock the true value and authenticity of your voice 🤩🌟
