A sad day to hear of friend Ryans death. He was a gem among humans. Ryan helped me for many years building the Oasis beach stand, single handedly digging holes, cutting and lifting poles. He was nicknamed Hercules as he did the work of 3 men. He was always smiling, as his generosity of spirit saw the best in people and he was always there to lend support. As a cameraman in the movie biz he was also in high demand with his good looks and great laugh, he was a star in life himself. My heart is broken that we did not stay connected post beach days. To hear of his passing is a day of great sadness for me.

REMINDER a MUST ATTEND MEETING TODAY 4pm-7pm to STOP THE JET FUEL past Wreck and other beaches. 12360 Cambie Rd at the East Richmond Community Hall. Judy requests all attend so she does not stand alone for this important Open House put on by Port Metro Vancouver for public comments. If you also wish to attend the WBPS meeting afterwards it is at 7pm at the GVRD office at 120-1200 W. 73rd Ave 4 blocks past Oak St between Selkirk and Hudson. Thank you everyone for your presence!
