I think the forest is starting to come together. I'll need to revisit the models in Speedtree at some point once I know exactly what specs I need. Right now the vegetation pieces are all nanite models...so I can have really high poly trees and stuff, but that means I can't have any moving vegetation.

Working on a simple blueprint to control the spinning enchantment machine in Leo's lab. Too much work trying to animate all the rings in sequencer. Now it's all pre-constructed in the blueprint, complete with spin controls and with attached particle fx. Nothing fancy, but will be a huge time saver going forward.

Wanted to make a cool rocky grassland scene. This is basically just a landscape with a grassy Quixel texture on it, and a bunch of Quixel rocks scattered around at various sizes. The horse and animations are from the Marketplace, as is the light warrior rider.

One of the things I wanted to test in this scene was adding a Niagara particle element to the horse's run cycle, so that the hooves kick up some debris and dust when it runs. Collisions are turned on, so the debris gets kicked up and then scatters across the ground a bit. Needs some tweaking, but I think it looks pretty good.

I have no idea what's causing the popping render artifacts in the landscape grass.

This was slowed down to 75% with Optical Flow processing in Resolve. Also a bit of grain was added.

A few days back, I was working on the interior of Leo's lab, and decided to just do a quick cinematic render of the interior, focusing mainly on the ceiling I was building. Then I decided it would be cool for the cinematic to fly up and outside. But there was nothing outside. So I decided to throw together a cityscape. Hours later, now late into the night, I decided I was going wayyyy overboard so just hit the render button and went to bed. This is very incomplete, with lots of broken/unfinished stuff in here. It was shaping up to be a cool shot, so at some point I think I'll go back and finish this up.
