🦎🌺‘ạlusi - lizard🌺🦎

‘ạlusi slowly slips into place

between ferns of silver lace

she sits and smiles upon the frangipani tree

wrapped with vines of hanisaka that smell of so sweet

here, she eats rạmu mosquitoes and laga fly

basking in the sun

till dusk when the sun sets

and the time to hunt has begun

🪶PELŌ - CRANE 🪶

Pelō perches on top of whirly arbutus trees
between cat tails and seagulls
Pelō 's hungry, fishing for heron out of the shallow lagoon's changing tide.
fluffing its silver and blue feathers in the moonlight
