Harbour Dance Centre HDC

Harbour Dance Centre HDC HDC is an adult dance studio located in downtown Vancouver offering over 100 drop-in classes a week. Two separate weeks are for adults and teenagers (Ages 14+).

Harbour Dance Centre Offers:

-Drop-in Classes (ages 16+) from beginner to professional.

-Classes in Advanced Contemporary, Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, Hip Hop, Popping, Waacking, Tap, Keep it Sexy, Heels, Bollywood, Grooving, Jazz Funk & Theatre Dance.

- Summer School Intensive: takes place in the month of July. Intensive Training Program (ITP): consists of 13 clas

ses/a week in dance, voice, fitness, performance and other dance related studies. The scholarship directors and participants work closely together and after careful evaluation the directors customize the participants training program and guide them throughout the program. Acceptance into the program is by audition only. To be eligible for the program, students must be at least 17 years of age and dancing at an intermediate level in jazz and ballet. What to expect: For the dancer comfortable in an intermediate class, ready to refine what they already know. Confident keeping up and moving in a heel, but craving the guidance to polish their technique and deepen their performance experience as they step fully into their potential.

This series also serves as a feeder program into Aura, Harbour Dance Centre's audition-based heels and commercial collective. If Aura is on your radar, this is the place to build the foundation that will get you there.
Come for the energy of a drop-in class and leave with the technical development of a progressive workshop.

Kneepads, heels and form fitting clothes are recommended.

Last class will be filmed by a videographer.
