📣Call For Home-Based Artists: Eastside Culture Crawl Pop Up 2026
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: September 1, 2026

The Eastside Culture Crawl ("Crawl") is an open studio event designed to celebrate and promote the diverse visual art practices within Vancouver’s Eastside. The Crawl’s Pop-up studio space is to enhance accessibility for artists who live and work from their homes but are unable to open their studios to the public. This initiative provides a limited number of home-based artists the opportunity to showcase their work at the 2026 Culture Crawl from a pop-up studio space. Crawl Pop-up registration costs $180 + GST, with a limited number of free, scholarship spots.

CRITERIA
o You must live and work in the Eastside Culture Crawl boundaries
(Columbia Street to Victoria Drive, and First Avenue to the Waterfront).
o You must only have a home-based studio.
o Your work must be one-of-a-kind and created by you.
o You must be committed to participating in the full 2026 Culture Crawl
event hours (Thurs/Fri 5-10 pm & Sat/Sun 11-6 pm).
o If selected, you must apply for the 2026 Culture Crawl and pay the
registration fee.
o You must be 18 years and over.
Applications from Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour are highly encouraged.

🚸 This year on our walking tours we learned about the streets we call home! We visited public art sites, little known art spaces, community hubs and other cultural icons of Vacouver's Eastside.

✨ We looked and listened closely to what makes our neighbourhood so special.

🌞 And thats a wrap! Thank you so much to our incredible Eastside community who came out on Saturday to celebrate the 6th annual Eastside Arts Festival.

🎶 What an amazing day full of music, art and community. We are beyond grateful to the musicians who kept us grooving, to our food trucks who kept us fed and to our beer garden who kept us smiling ;)

🎨 Thank you to our art vendors for displaying your incredible works and to our art activations for hosting beautiful and captivating workshops.

💫 We're already looking forward to next year.
