Hello! I’m entering a very exciting new chapter of my business.

I’ve always dreamed of integrating art into daily life, and have a deep appreciation for beauty in our everyday objects. Surface pattern design is a way that art is woven into our daily lives, and lots of us don’t even realize it!

I’ve now launched my print library, and will be continuing to add to it. If you have a brand and are interested in elevating your products with art originated by an artists hand, go check it out! I also offer custom print design, along with logos. All hand painted and then digitized, so they have an organic, artistic style.

Coming back to beauty, wonder, whimsy, gratitude and kindness every day is a quiet rebellion. Claiming joy is a bold act of independence from manipulative forces, and choosing to create is an act of devotion to yourself and your community.
Creating food with love, moments with presence, and art from life, are all acts worth your time and energy.

Slow change is good change

I have this feeling that the tectonic plates of our lives are shifting underneath us, and that big but slow change is unravelling. I know some people are experiencing more like earthquake level changes right now, but for me it’s a feeling of “change is coming” even though at the surface it doesn’t look like much is happening (while on the world stage a LOT is happening, but also, bigger change feels like it’s coming).

A small but mighty mini collection. The Mother series features 4 paintings that capture different aspects to mother energy. This series started as a desire to create meaningful gifts for Mother’s Day, and became a practice of observing the growing strength, resilience and grace in my friends, myself, and the mothers I know.

The reminder I needed this week

I’ve always wanted to experience an artists residency, but it hadn’t happened yet and so I decided to create my own ✨ 3 nights in Victoria with .meshwork was just enough to settle into creative flow and move the needle on my fantasy project.

Not only in the work done over the 3 days, but also in all the prep I did in order to make the most of the days. Lists, plans, Pinterest boards and a game plan, helped create so much clarity.

This project is so special to me, and I can’t wait to share more of it. I have no idea how long it’s going to take me to complete, but I could see building it out in countless ways, turning into so many different projects.

I will absolutely be using these retreats as a tool to make progress when I’m stuck, to gain momentum or to work out a sticking point.

I fell in love with this project this week, and fell in love with Victoria too.

These paintings are the ultimate spring energy, which I really felt yesterday. That bud that’s been underground finally poking through; the storms and silence of winter replaced with birdsong.
