It's been a tale of two parts to each race day for Kent Vincent in 2026.

He is top of the board for checkered flags in 2026 on the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series with a pair of heat race victories - but feature competition has been not as kind to Vincent. A DNF at Petty after leading laps and then a couple loops at Speedway 660 has been part of a wild start to the year.

But now, Kent comes home to Oyster Bed Speedway and is hoping to see his heat results translate to feature results! An icon of the track and Prince Edward Island racing, Vincent is hoping for march to the front in the Universal Truck and Trailer 150! Be there at Oyster Bed Speedway to watch - green flag is 2pm on Sunday June 14th!

UPDATED RACE DAY FORMAT: Here's the updated event schedule for the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 and PiccottCare 50, now on Sunday, June 14th!

We are looking forward to a fantastic - and drier - afternoon of racing TOMORROW! It's the first visit to Prince Edward Island by the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series and PiccottCare Maritime League of Legends Tour in 2026, with support from three of our house classes, all contesting extended-distance features.

Ticket booths and gates open at 9:00am, practices run from 10:40am to 1:00pm, and racing gets underway at 2:00pm.

Mainlanders, if you're using the Confederation Bridge for travelling tomorrow, choose your departure time wisely - expect possible 30-60 minute delays due to ongoing bridge maintenance.

Don't miss out on one of the best Maritime race cards of the summer, featuring the biggest field of Pro Stocks/Late Models across the region in 2026 thus far!

BREAKING NEWS: Due to Saturday’s unfavourable weather conditions, Oyster Bed Speedway management has made the call to postpone the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 and PiccottCare 50 event to the FOLLOWING DAY on Sunday, June 14th, at 2:00pm.

An updated race day format is in the works — stay tuned.

As of this announcement, tonight’s Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series open practice is still a go. 5:00pm till dark, and pits are $20 per person with a completed eWaiver. This post will be edited if cancelled.

See you at the Speedway on Sunday!

PREVIEW: We're just two sleeps away from our first special event of the 2026 season, featuring the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 and PiccottCare 50!

An action-packed June continues with the first visits by the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series and PiccottCare Maritime League of Legends Tour, plus championship point races for the Reliable Motors Beginner & Outlaw Bandoleros and Fitzpatrick Consulting Street Stocks up next this Saturday, June 13th!

22 Pro Stocks/Late Models, 20 Legends, and plenty more Bandoleros and Street Stocks are expected to pack the pits for one of Atlantic Canada's biggest race nights of the summer! Big fields, big names, and big stakes promise us an exciting, memorable show!

POINTS: Updated championship point standings, full results, and a full recap from Fan Appreciation Night (June 6th) are now posted on our website.

For the five divisions that raced on both Opening Day and this past weekend, if you led the points after Opening Day, congratulations, you stand pat!

While some leads increased and others remain tight, every championship is far from over. Notably, we had fifteen (15) different winners on Opening Day, and added eleven (11) more on Fan Appreciation Night.

Round three for the Reliable Motors Beginner & Outlaw Bandoleros and Fitzpatrick Consulting Street Stocks goes this Saturday, June 13th! Mini Stocks, Outlaws, and Legends return to action the following Saturday, June 20th, and Bombers on Saturday, July 4th, for their marquee 45-lap feature.

RACE DAY FORMAT: Our first special event of the 2026 season is almost here!

It's the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 for the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series, the PiccottCare 50 for the PiccottCare Maritime League of Legends Tour, and round three for the Reliable Motors Beginner & Outlaw Bandoleros and Fitzpatrick Consulting Street Stocks on Saturday, June 13th.

With some race teams and individuals completing on and/or off-track double duties, and many travelling teams and fans in mind for our first touring races of the season, we look forward to an amazing evening of racing with a schedule aimed at delivering a smooth, well-balanced program.

Ticket booths and gates open at 11:30am, practices run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and racing begins at 5:00pm.

We are monitoring the weather forecasts for Saturday and will provide updates when available. The rain date, if necessary, is Sunday, June 14th, at 2:00pm.

Hopefully, the weather allows us to see you at the Speedway on Saturday!

MLOL: The entry list for the PiccottCare Maritime League of Legends Tour's PiccottCare 50 is here!

Twenty (20) cars are entered into the second round of the Series' 2026 championship, and first on Prince Edward Island, with the list including just three (3) former Series winners and a plethora of rookies (four from the Island).

Only one driver is a past Series winner on the Island - current Oyster Bed Speedway house class points leader Caden Tufts ( #00), who took home the Series' season opener at Petty last Saturday and scored a local trifecta at Oyster Bed last month.

Take your pick ━ who's winning the PiccottCare 50 this Saturday, June 13th?! Racing action begins at 5:00pm.
