Customer bought this piece but asked for it to be taller. So I added a 2ft base. A little sad to see this one go but I know the customer has the perfect spot for it and will appreciate it for many years.

This Saturday from 12-5 at Artsolutely. There is a bunch of different art demos including myself carving. Free hot chocolate bar, art activities for the kids and much more. Come check it out at the art center in polson park.

Last Christmas market of the year. Today from 3-7. Lots to do including, fireworks, bc winter games torch lighting, fire dancers, 20+ vendors and last but not least live carving demos.

Well I can say with 100% certainty I gave this carving my all. I truly hope the customer is happy with it as this is the best I could do. This was definitely a huge step for me as an artist and pushed me to grow. Wish me luck as I present this piece to the customer at the end of the week.

Artsolutely opens on Thursday. A portion of all sales go back to the art center to fund art programs and classes for the community. Come down throughout the month of December. So many artist and makers to get your Christmas shopping done with. Support local.

Todays progress on a 4.5 ft soaring eagle. So far this piece is all chainsaw no other tools yet. I will let it dry out for a couple days before detailing and sanding.

I know its just a feather but I love the movement and colors of this piece. It started out as an offcut from a larger sculpture that was destined to be fire wood but I saw something cool in the grain and knew it needed to be something more

I have been a huge supporter and fan of for many years. From using there tools as a trades person in cabinetry to now transitioning into chainsaw carving I have accumulated quite the collection. UPDATE
Finished my newest eagle. First time carving poplar. Thanks Marina, Chainsaw Spirit for the wood. This is the piece I blocked out at her shop. I had debated painting it but I had a customer stop by and purchase it before it was complete and they chose to keep it mostly natural.

My 2 hour quick carve I managed to make 2 chairs an owl in a log end table and a cute little bear. Pretty happy with the end result

Interior logging show. Thats a wrap. I sold 75% of my stock it was a very successful show. I even had to restock in between the 2 days. This video was at the beginning of day 2.
Newest eagle complete and will be available at the market at bannock slap this Wednesday where I will be doing a live carve and setting up a table of items for sale. I will also be selling tickets for a chance to win what I carve while onsite.
