I was recently pleased to welcome Mr. Bruce Flavelle to the Bert Small Art Gallery. Bruce and his parents, the late Bud & Adrienne Flavelle, were friends with Bert & Peggy and their kids for some 50 years and Bruce well-remembers playing music with Jamie and Jeffrey back in the day. The Small's were occasionally invited to the Flavelle cottage and Bruce was very kind to share these photos of a Bert Small painting that has hung there for many decades. It is "Fruit Cornucopia", painted in 1962.

Maybe someone in Scarborough could take a photograph of the totem pole in Thomson's Park so we have an up-to-date view?
