lately we’ve been thinking about who we are as founders, creators, and artists..

september 8th is BLANK’s one year anniversary, and we’re reflecting on our progress.. asking questions like where have we been successful this past year, and where we do we still need to align?

anyone who’s on a similar journey knows that identity is a huge part of your every day..

🌀 am i an artist if i don’t paint?
🌀 what if i spend most of my time parenting?
🌀 am i taking good care of my family by not having a job with benefits?
🌀 is it smart to not have a steady income in this political climate?

the thought spiral is literally never ending…

when it feels overwhelming, the best cure we’ve found is to lean on mentorship and connect with likeminded individuals.

that’s why BLANK is building a community of artists.. we know how hard it is to navigate the emerging artist journey alone.. and we’re building this in public because we want you to be a part of it.

over the next few weeks, we’ll launch BLANK SPACE 002, announce some fun partnership news, share info about BLANK membership, and invite you all to our anniversary party…

but today, we’re sharing encouraging words from artists who created before us, hoping they’ll mean something to you too.
