New RELICS show. Hey everybody, my Halifax band, The Relics, has a matinee at Bearly's, 1269 Barrington Street, on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 4pm until 8pm. Got a few new tunes, and lots of cover tunes no one else plays. Last gig there was a blast, you don't want to miss this one. While Roger W Nelson is working on his tan in Mexico, we are featuring ace guitar slinger Don Donohue (The Razorbacks, The Viletones, The Defects) on guitar. NO COVER CHARGE! Gonna be fun. A rootsy, original acoustic trio that we think your are going to love. Featuring Kevin Jollimore from the popular Toronto band The Sin City Boys and Donnie Donohue, formerly of Toronto's rockabilly ravers The Razorbacks. Rounding out the band is well known Halifax drummer Derek Thomas.
Currently, they are in pre-production for their first commercial release, and when things clear up a bit, expect to see them playing live at venue near you.
