Preserved Dragons Collection

An extension of Fan Page Preserved Dragons that publishes collectible art pieces by artist MGO. Anything in this world has potential to become art.

It's the duty and the journey of an artist to discover, extract and create it. Some artists find beauty in serene landscapes, furry animals, portraitures, sci-fi fantasy, modern sculptures, abstraction, you name it. I, for one, find true beauty in people and moments pertaining to film, tv, sports, music videos and news. It could be a key scene in a movie that would pump my blood or break my heart or a glimpse of heroism on the world's largest stage, the news. My efforts will be capturing these moments and bottling the soul and emotion of significant moments into a piece by digital means or sculpture by hand. This is my art. My journey.

83 years old Hung Gar Grandmaster Chiu Chi-Ling, also best known as The Tailor, from KUNG FU HUSTLE (2004) was asked about fond memories making the classic with Stephen Chow.

“Stephen has never learned Hung Gar Fist, but he really likes kung fu and I got to collaborate with him, to make KUNG FU HUSTLE and feature our Hung Gar Fist, Iron Fist and Fifth-Son’s-Eight-Trigram-Staff (pole technique) in the movie.” 🤜🫷

When the Landlady was mentioned, Grandmaster instantly became The Tailor: 🧵🪡

“You bring up the Landlady, I really hated her so much. She was a big bully! Saying she’ll cut our water and cut that… she’s such a meanie…” 😂

Jet Li revealed yesterday on his YouTube channel: So Be It Episode 14, an eerie similarity between Bruce Lee and his father.

“My father died at 32 years old because of a headache.”

Jet’s daughter, Jada repeats: “His only symptom was a headache before he passed”.

** That’s exactly how 32 year old Bruce Lee died after taking a pill for a headache which led to a fatal allergic reaction. **

The first generation of Ma Wing Chun (THE BOXER FROM SHANTUNG 1972), Master Chen Kuan-Tai, have a good journey 🙏

They were in John Woo and Wu Ma’s JUST HEROES (1989) and SLEAZY DIZZY (1990).

Rest in Power, James Lew, Hollywood Martial Arts Legend 🤜🫷

** My story with James Lew is unique—I opened an alt account on IG because of James. If you’re curious to know why, scroll to my very first post and see what happened. **

Before that, 6 years ago, when we talked over the phone, he wanted to buy my tribute BEST OF THE BEST tees, but of course, I wouldn’t charge him and gifted to him, and the Rhee Brothers.

I told him my plan to draw his BIG TROUBLE IN CHINA ’Chang Sing’ character that got him excited.
But I never thought it would be 6 years before I started on it… I was looking forward to showing it to him as it is almost completed.

My condolences to his family and friends.
