A few weeks ago, Ronald Taylor Dance had a great time sitting down with Nicole Hamilton of Turn Out - CIUT 89.5 FM to talk about the experience of working on MASS (A Spiritual Journey To The Creator Within), which premiered at The Theatre Centre November 21-22.
Nicole sat down with our AD Ronald A. Taylor and MASS dancers Coco Murray (Miss Coco Murray) and Derek Souvannavong to discuss ritual, healing and collective awakening.

There were so many magical moments and collaborations on the journey to bringing MASS (A Spiritual Journey To The Creator Within) to the stage at The Theatre Centre.

As the production has come to a close.

Ronald Taylor Dance would like to say Thank you to the community and the audience members for coming out and celebrating 32 years of dance and 27 years of MASS (A Spiritual Journey to the Creator Within).

Your continuous support means a lot and we are proud to be a part of the dance community in Toronto and internationally.

Thank you to the Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, Ronald Taylor Dance members and staff, and everyone else to played a role in making this production come alive.

Get to know the incredible team of MASS (A Spiritual Journey To The Creator Within)!! Last but not least, rounding out our performance team, we bring you our final magical music maker, Yohance D.A.D.A. Francis Parsons!

Yohance D.A.D.A Francis Parsons is an accomplished Percussionist, Musician, Producer and Songwriter who has been performing professionally since the age of 2. Yohance started off his career as a Djembe player with Ngoma Drum & Dance Ensemble, eventually growing and maturing into a dynamic artist with his own solo accomplishments as a musician and writer.

Collaborating with many Artists, Drummers and Dance companies internationally. Music has taken Yohance across the world allowing him to share his talents in the Caribbean, South America, Africa, America and Europe while maintaining a Creative Director role with the Ngoma Drum & Dance Ensemble and HiClass Union to this day.

Get to know the incredible team of MASS (A Spiritual Journey To The Creator Within)!!
From up high, we bring you another movement artist and our second Moko Jumbie, Xica Dieffenthaller-Lee Poy!

Xica Dieffenthaller-Lee Poy is a Trinidadian, now based in Toronto, a multifaceted artist who has been heavily involved in performance, dance, and the arts for many years. She attends OCAD University, furthering her artistic skills with hopes of pursuing a career in culture and arts. While multifaceted, her main practice is Moko Jumbie. For the past 10 years, the Moko Jumbie tradition has brought together her love for dance and performance into one practice. Performing as a Moko Jumbie for many events, ceremonies, and most recently, Tech a Jump immersive experience.
