Today I attended a Celebration of Life for a very special person: Kumiko Honjo. She was a joyful, benevolent, inspirational, one-of-a-kind woman. She used to come to my gigs with gifts (including homemade sushi!) and referring to herself as “super paparazzi” she would take photos of local musicians and share them with wild abandon. Her kindness knew no bounds and she always had a smile that lit up the room. Thank You dearest Kumi-chan. Your spirit lives on. May you rest in eternal peace.🤍
