James Town Visual Arts Workshop, is the first youth-led workshop of its kind in the neighbourhood of St. James Town, Toronto. It introduces interested youth participants to the different types of art media, by providing them the opportunity to build their artistic skills through the various art projects and activities in the workshops. Serendipity Visual Arts seeks to provide St. James Town youth an inclusive community learning space, where they are able to explore community issues through the visual arts, build artistic skills and experiences, and collectively mobilize to create positive social change in their community.
