Give a bunch of Makrs a room with no instructions and tell them to figure it out. Obviously, we’re in.
Last week, we headed to BRKFREE in Mississauga for some team building excitement, where we spent the afternoon solving challenges, testing strategies, competing for points and occasionally, discovering that confidence and competence are not always the same thing
In other words, very much our kind of fun.
We split into five appropriately named teams: Oops We Invented It, Ctrl Alt Create, The Unreasonable Idea Club, Chaos Theory and Glitch Mob, then set off to see who could climb the leaderboard.
There was a lot of trial and error, some questionable strategies, plenty of “wait, let me try that again” moments, and a healthy amount of competition.
And in an outcome that feels almost too fitting, Chaos Theory took the win. 🏆
We spend a lot of our days thinking about how people interact with spaces, games and experiences, so it was both fun and interesting to be on the other side for a change.
Thanks to BRKFREE for having us and for making it challenging and enjoyable. We had an absolute blast.
