The crisis in the Ukraine is devastating. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom, values and way of life. Uken has donated to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal and will fast track all applicants from the Ukraine and from Ukrainians in places of refuge for any of our open positions. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Alex Trebek for all his support over the years. As the iconic host of Jeopardy! Mr. Trebek was a big part of our everyday lives, both in the office and in our own homes.

Our thoughts are with Mr. Trebek, his family, and his many fans affected by this great loss to the Jeopardy! family.

Last week Uken Games held our annual Camp Ooch Draw to support our runners in the Sporting Life 10k for Camp Ooch!

Uken and team members donated prizes to be won, including company swag, app allowances, art and baking commissions and MORE! Individuals get tickets based on their donations and the competition ensues.

Our favourite part? Going virtual this year meant we had to go all-out, so we adopted a special tradition the Camp Ooch team shared with us... check it out!

Thanks to Clara and Cindy for once again pulling off our raffle. You always do such a phenomenal job of making this an exciting, competitive, and rewarding experience. Thanks to you we were able to raise $5000 for kids with cancer, for a charity we care deeply about.

Also big thanks to our leads for being such phenomenal sports in getting pied, our team for their generosity and energy in participating each year, and the Camp Ooch team for their support through the entire process. 💙
