rejzndkliv

rejzndkliv rejzndkliv is a new theatre company. We strive to break down walls, and build bridges; to overcome what divides us as people, and bring us together.

The name 'rejzndkliv' was inspired by International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) spelling of my favourite English words: 'raze'/'raise' (to destroy/to build) and 'cleave' (to cut apart; to stick together). I found it fascinating how a pair of words can sound the same, and yet mean their exact opposites. Along with inspiring the company name, these sets of words are the foundations of rejzndkliv's goal:

Breaking down walls and building bridges to overcome what divides us, and bring us together.
