Visited Japan earlier this year for my second time, and every visit just deepens the appreciation.

There’s something about the culture that stays with you long after you leave—built on discipline, respect, and an almost quiet obsession with craft. Nothing feels rushed or random. Whether it’s everyday life, the way spaces are designed, or how people move with intention, everything has purpose behind it.

Japan reminds you that excellence isn’t loud—it’s consistent. It shows up in the smallest details, in the pride people take in what they do, and in the way tradition and modernity exist side by side without losing identity.

Coming back again felt less like travel and more like a reminder of standards—how far attention to detail and discipline can carry a culture, and how much there is to learn from it.

And at this point… second trip in, I’m basically one residency application away from citizenship, right? 🇯🇵😅

Clinic #3 at F45 Guildwood ✅

What a difference three clinics can make. We challenged this crew with advanced running drills and put it all together in a mini hyrox simulation.

It was also amazing to hear the feedback from the community on how much impact these sessions have made. One member even mentioned they could hear my voice throughout their race, something I often hear from my athletes, and a reminder of how much carryover mindset and coaching cues have when it matters most.

Progress isn’t just about getting stronger, it’s about rising to every new challenge that comes your way. 🏋🏾‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

[WRESTLING 🤼 & THE COMPLETE ATHLETE]

Spent my Saturday morning at my first wrestling tournament supporting one of my favorite athletes and it did not disappoint.

Got to watch Marley, the daughter of one of my pro boxers, step onto the mat and compete. What stands out most isn’t just talent, it’s the consistency and effort. Early mornings, showing up alongside her mom, putting in the work day after day in her own sport.

She’s recently taken on wrestling, and seeing her embrace a new sport, new challenges, and that competitive environment was special. It reminded me of the message I continue to preach with other youth athletes - cross training is so important!!!

This is what real youth development looks like, not rushing into one path, but playing, exploring, and building a complete athlete. Every experience adds to the foundation.

Marley’s only getting started… and it’s exciting to watch 👊🏽🔥

Another HYROX running clinic in the books, this time with the incredible crew at F45 Peterborough 🏃🏽‍♂️🔥

I had the opportunity to lead athletes through drills and techniques focused on improving running economy, efficiency, and race-day performance. Seeing the immediate transfer from drills to movement was the most rewarding part.

HYROX is a sport where running makes up half the race, so learning how to run well can be a real game changer.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn, move, and push their limits. Excited to keep building stronger, faster athletes.

was a memorable one this past weekend. From having privilege to meet new Tamil athletes from all over the world to coaching .sc to their first championship and put Tamil women athletes on the map in Canada was was a full-circle moment I’ll never forget. From building connections with Tamil athletes worldwide to witnessing this team make history, my heart is full. Proud to play a small role in elevating Tamil women athletes in Canada — the standard has officially been set. 💫🏆

This past weekend competing in the TEFA Futsal tournament and be given the opportunity to showcase our women’s skill on an international platform was a long time coming.

What we witnessed wasn’t just a tournament — it was visibility. It was proof that women in our Tamil community belong on big stages, in packed stadiums, and in conversations about excellence.

For so long, there wasn’t space for Tamil girls to truly play, grow, and be seen. This weekend, you changed that. You showed that women’s football is talented, powerful, and worth celebrating.

This vision wouldn’t have come to life without my sisters in this mission who work tirelessly behind the scenes and deserve just as much recognition as anyone on the pitch. 🤍
