One of my newest art pieces. ‘As Above, So Below’. Inspired by the forests, the trees, the connections in nature; the ones we see and the unseen, the moon cycles , life cycles and the elements. Made with river water, natural pigments, inks, mineral paints and framed with tree branches gifted from the storms we have been experiencing.
The moon is made of petals from the daisies I wanted to gift another life to. Hand picked the day before a meadow area was to be cut. Mugwort makes an appearance, as does beeswax from my hive from years past, sealing the story I created on this piece of found wood.

I’m so happy with these pieces. It’s part print making, natural dyes, charcoals, image transfer. The perfect frame presented and the art pieces came to me. Moon cycles.. of course.
