MADx by night launched in July '16 to a packed house in the back room of the legendary Imperial Pub, right in the heart of Toronto. An evening of performance in celebration of the human spirit. Our first show packed the house and brought forth audience cries for “MORE! MADx is an inclusive space featuring many kinds of performances including spoken word, stand-up, song, storytelling. We have a cur

ated mix of experienced and first-time performers bringing you direct from-the-heart accounts that celebrate what it takes to live in this world and to the struggle to free ourselves and become who we can be. If you’ve ever struggled to break free of others’ ideas of who or what they would have you to be then you know what that’s about. So come join us, celebrate, rebel and make some noise - and welcome others doing the same. MADx is a space we create together and hope everyone can feel they can belong too.
