This a long-term memory collective project. People are invited to post and share on this page’s wall pictures of publicly placed art that celebrates or commemorates, on Canadian soil, people, events, and values belonging to the past and present of Canadians with an immigrant heritage. Whether the artworks are temporary, permanent or the result of community-based projects, the principal aim of this

initiative is to think together about better and more effective ways of representing Canadians' narratives in public spaces. Comments, remarks, news, and questions related to public art in Canada are welcomed and highly needed.
