Happy Thanksgiving from The Chef Upstairs! 🍂

We hope today brings good food, great company, and just enough room for dessert.

And when you open the fridge tomorrow to find containers of turkey, stuffing, vegetables, gravy and cranberry sauce staring back at you... don't settle for five days of the same sandwich. 👀

Turn those leftovers into pot pie, crispy quesadillas, homemade soup, or the ultimate Thanksgiving bowl.

Save this post. You’re going to need this tomorrow. 😉

The out-of-office is on. The drinks are out. Happy long weekend. 🥂

Chef Harold’s favourites come with a story. 👨‍🍳

Pupusas hold a special place in his Salvadoran roots, while eight months spent in Mexico sparked his love for Mexican cuisine. And his standout favourite? Tacos al pastor.

For Chef Harold, great food is a connection to where he comes from and the places that have shaped him.

If you’ve been trusted with Thanksgiving turkey this year, save this post. 🦃

A great turkey isn’t about a secret ingredient. It comes down to getting the basics right, thawing ahead, drying the skin, seasoning properly, checking doneness with a thermometer and resisting the urge to carve it immediately.

Small steps. Much better turkey.

Send this to whoever’s in charge of the showstopper this Thanksgiving. 👩‍🍳

Our corporate cooking events bring coworkers together through a hands-on experience that encourages communication, collaboration, and plenty of fun along the way.

Planning your next team event or holiday party? Host it with us at our Midtown Toronto or Vaughan location, or at a venue of your choice!

Pumpkin season is here! 🎃

Roast it for soups, fold it into pasta, or bake it into something sweet. A little prep goes a long way! Choose a pumpkin that feels heavy for its size and save the seeds for roasting.

Save this for your next farmers’ market haul!

Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t have to mean spending three days making 14 different dishes. 😅

A few seasonal favourites made well can be just as memorable.

Think apple cranberry brie bites, roasted pear, parsnip & sage soup, and maple c***r glazed chicken.

Save this one now, future Thanksgiving-you will appreciate it. 👩‍🍳
