Meet Al McFoster
📍 Toronto, ON

Born and raised in Toronto, AL's connection to entertainment started early. Growing up in a Caribbean household surrounded by music, he was performing in showcases, concert halls and church choirs long before stepping behind the DJ booth. Those early experiences helped shape the performer he is today and sparked a lifelong passion for connecting with audiences through music.

With more than 15 years behind the decks, AL has become known for his versatility as an open-format DJ. His sets draw from decades of music and move effortlessly through hip hop, R&B, reggae, disco, rock, Latin, EDM and more.

As a host, performer and DJ, he brings personality, energy and a genuine love for the craft to every event. Get a taste of his sound with our latest Halloween playlist here: https://tinyurl.com/BVE-Dark-Disco

The holidays are all about creating moments people want to linger in, and music has a way of bringing those moments to life.

From nostalgic holiday favourites to unexpected musical moments, we’re thinking about the ways live entertainment can create connection, elevate the atmosphere and give guests something memorable to talk about.

First up: "A Charlie Brown Christmas" - a jazz trio performing music inspired by Vince Guaraldi’s iconic soundtrack. Warm, nostalgic and made for the moments that make the season feel special.

We're proud to have our musicians back for another year of one of the greatest traditions in Canadian racing history.

For more than 165 years, the King's Plate has brought together racing, hospitality, fashion and entertainment at Woodbine. This year we featured DJs and live string musicians, bringing their own sound and style to the celebration and adding to the atmosphere throughout the day.

Our artists bring something different to every event, and King's Plate was no exception. We're proud to see their talent become part of a tradition that has been bringing people together for generations. Thank you to the Woodbine team for another memorable year.

Meet Glenn Paul .music
📍 Hamilton, ON

Glenn is a Hamilton-based drummer, musician and educator whose career has taken him from local bands to stages around the world. His first love was always the drums but he also plays the guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano.

Glenn spent three years playing drums on cruise ships, travelling through more than 17 countries and performing night after night. Since returning to Hamilton in 2014, he has built a full-time career performing, teaching and composing across jazz, rock, country, R&B and more.

There is a lot of curiosity behind Glenn's musicianship. He has spent his career learning from different styles, different places and different people, and that openness continues to shape the way he approaches music today.

Two weeks ago, we brought a group of Bella Vista artists together for an Artist Social.

An evening to step away from the stage, meet fellow musicians, share stories and spend time with people who understand the work that goes into what we do.

Our artists come from different musical backgrounds and bring their own experiences, styles and perspectives to every performance. Creating opportunities for them to connect with one another is an important part of the community we want to build at Bella Vista.

We’re proud to work with artists who support each other, share their knowledge and continue to push their craft forward.

This was the first of many. We’re looking forward to bringing more of our artists together soon.

TIFF is a marathon.

Between performances, appearances, travel, styling, and long days across the city, artists are constantly managing moving pieces.

Our TIFF Survival Kit is built around the essentials that keep us ready, focused, and prepared for whatever the festival brings.

And when the schedule gets packed, we help take care of the details behind the scenes, from bookings and logistics to creating a seamless experience from start to finish.

Here’s what we never leave home without.
