Pulse, Toronto Concerts From bluegrass, to funk, to avant-garde classical, Pulse strives to bring people together to listen and socialize, while bringing new music to new ears.

The biggest part of Pulse is breaking the confines of the concert hall by creating an atmosphere for both active listening and socializing. Music has a remarkable ability to bring people of different backgrounds together. It gives everyone something to share and experience collectively. e is dedicated to facilitating and encouraging this diverse interaction by presenting a variety of different genres in a single performance space. Another important point for Pulse is to put classical music in the light of the public by weaving it into a program of other musical genres and placing it in a less uptight atmosphere. Classical music is something that can be enjoyed in much the same way pop or jazz can be, and it is one of our aims to show that.
