It is with the heaviest heart I write this post on behalf of my sister, Lauren Hayes and I. Our Dad Christopher Hayes, passed away unexpectedly. We are at a loss to put into words what a wonderful man he was and how deeply he will be missed by his friends and family.
We will be celebrating the life of our Dad, Christopher Hayes Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of January. Click on the link for visitations and service details.
We want to honour our Dad's memory and celebrate the loving friendly person he was to everyone around him.
Thursday night we will head into my Dad's neighbourhood and have a drink in his honour at the Cadillac Lounge aka our Dads kitchen. We will be there at 6:30pm. Please feel free to join us.
In lieu of flowers, we respectively welcome any donations be directed to Westview Centennial SS in support of the “Christopher John Hayes Scholarship Fund”. Funds raised will be awarded to a Westview Centennial SS graduating student in the Arts program who would be pursuing a career or post-secondary education in the field of art.
Cards and donation envelopes will be available on both Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12. Alternately, feel free to address and forward your donation c/o:
Cherilyn Scobie, Principal, Westview Centennial SS, 755 Oakdale Road, North York, ON M3N 1W7 and/or Dixon – Garland Funeral, 166 Main St N, Markham, ON L3P 1Y3 (905 -294-2030)
On behalf of our Dad and the family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being in his life and making such a difference.
With love,
Chris' daughters Tara Hayes and Lauren Hayes xoxo
