Faz is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter blending neo-soul, hip-hop, jazz, and pop into something that defies easy categorization. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, Faz has spent years leading workshops at festivals and universities across Canada and the US, sharing expertise in beat-boxing, guitar, and vocal production. Now diving back into performing and recording original music, Faz channels their eclectic influences and technical foundation into deeply personal compositions.

✨MEET OUR TEAM✨ (7/8)

iamyam. is a producer, vocalist, and DJ based in Toronto. Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, their sound is informed by the evocative nature of video game soundtracks, ambient textures, voice notes from friends, and a nostalgia for simpler times. This approach to production is evident on their debut EP, in transit, which chronicles the emotional journey and distinct memories of their trips back home. Yam’s forthcoming project will further flesh out their story, drawing heavier influences and sampling sounds from their upbringing in Beirut.

Yam is excited to be a TACO member for the opportunities to connect with local musicians and the rest of the co-op members, to create music and special moments together!
