Special cultural opportunity announcement! - the well established Toronto hotel - The Old Mill (9 Old Mill Road) have partnered with the BCUFinance to support a new orchestra for the GTA! The Old Mill recognizes that an orchestra program will bring a significant cultural anchor to the Etobicoke and Toronto area. This is a very exciting opportunity for Ontario orchestral musicians to be charter members of a group that has the potential to inspire and educate. We need help to show that there is a need for more of this type of programming- please consider joining us for rehearsals at The Old Mill Toronto on Monday and Wednesday mornings 10 am to 1 pm. The services of an internationally recognized conductor/maestro have been engaged and the location cannot be beat for convenience (TTC and parking), stunning interiors and acoustics.

What we do. We offer a top quality music performance and pure and in-deep work on music we present to the audience.
What is happening on Monday August 14th. An orchestra is a complex organism where every member needs a balance with all the rest. On Monday August 14 we will start a rehearsal/audition where we all can learn about each other. The conductor will get to know you as well as musicians can learn more about the conductor.
Professionally speaking we will start to work on a unique performing style and work in a supportive environment towards
The repertoire strategy. The orchestra will play music from the baroque era to the newest music by contemporary composers.

Conductor. Anton Yeretsky is a well known conductor from Vienna who has performed with the Musikverein (Vienna), the Vienna State Opera and the Kyiv Philharmonic.
Most note worthy are the concerts that Maestro Yeretsky produced in Vienna that raised $100,000 to purchase 6 ambulances to send to Ukraine.
The opportunity for this has come - and now is the time! We start this Monday! August 14! Please help us prove that orchestra culture is necessary and adds depth to the cultural mosaic in the community.
