Hedwig and the Angry Inch changed my life when I was young and grappling with the fact that I was different, and that every sound I made carried meaning.

I struggled with being visible, and expressing myself safely, but Hedwig helped me.

She has grounded me whenever I’ve gotten caught in the thought that I should sound like something else.

Getting to ask John Cameron Mitchell about gender and the voice of Hedwig was a special moment for me.

Hedwig was just herself. Her journey towards self actualization and wholeness continues to inspire me.

John Cameron Mitchell is apparently a radical fairy. I got that from Wikipedia- I don’t fully know what it means, but it sounds beautiful.

We need more of this.

I’m so glad to be surrounded by incredible radical fairies. 💋

Sometimes when I walk down the street, I feel like I’m calling BULL💩 on the world.

There were times I could disappear—before I came out, before I chose to live fully in my truth. But now?

People see me. They **feel** me. Something about my existence disrupts the status quo, and whether that stirs admiration or discomfort, I know it’s because I’ve chosen **freedom**.

But I don’t live for their discomfort—I live for the ones who see it and **feel something shift in themselves.** The ones who recognize this path because they walk it too. The outcasts. The Q***r artists. The trans voices who refuse to be erased.

That’s why we’re making *Solitude Divine*—to carve out space for those of us who were never meant to fit in. A way to lift up **Q***r and trans artists who refuse to fade into the background.**
