Want the best possible drawn portrait? It's all in the reference photos. Here's what actually helps
1) natural light, no flash please.
2) no shadows. Shadows is like adding a dark filter on, the true colours will be lost.
3) send more than just one reference photo, this will help artists like us to have a better understanding of angles and unique features.
