We are currently trying to identify Marie, who was last seen dining at Sambal before leaving the restaurant without paying her bill.

At this point, we’ve reviewed the footage, confirmed her order, and documented everything she had that evening. We take incidents like this seriously, and we’re extremely disappointed that someone would choose to do this to a small restaurant.

So yes, we’re posting the evidence.

Except…

Marie does not exist.
There was no dine & dash. 😭

Today, we’re taking the day off to celebrate with the people who make Sambal happen every day. We’ll be CLOSED TODAY for our staff anniversary party 🥳

Thank you to everyone who has eaten with us, celebrated with us, told your friends about us, and supported us through our first year.
