We are pleased to introduce two new additions to the Légère Signature double reed line: European Scrape Oboe Signature and Bassoon Signature.
Following the strong response to our first Signature double reeds, these new models continue that work with a more refined playing feel, shaped by player feedback, new tooling, and continued engineering development.
European Scrape Oboe Signature is designed for players looking for a darker, steadier response with greater control across the range. It offers cleaner response at softer dynamics, improved pitch stability in the upper register, and a more settled feel that allows players to focus less on compensating around the reed.
Bassoon Signature brings a warmer, freer-blowing feel to the Légère bassoon lineup. With less resistance than our earlier bassoon reeds, it accepts more air, responds more consistently, and gives players a broader range of options with Medium Soft available for the first time.
In developing these new reeds, the Légère R&D team refined the way pitch stability is built into the design, while preserving the response, tone, and playing feel players expect from a Signature reed.
Both reeds are designed for players who want Légère consistency with greater nuance, stability, and response.
