My calligraphy painting just raised $1,500 for cancer patients:

I donated my original painting, “Allah — Kufic in Gold,” to the auction at the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital fundraising gala in Toronto. Every dollar helps provide free cancer treatment to patients in need.

Heartfelt thanks to the Khalid Usman family, who have organized this gala for three decades and kept this noble cause alive in our community. It was an honour to share the evening with Hamza Ali Abbasi, and thank you to everyone who bid so generously.

Honoured to have donated my original calligraphy painting, “Allah — Kufic in Gold,” to the auction at the Shaukat Khanum fundraising gala in Toronto. It raised $1,500 for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, helping provide free cancer treatment to patients in need. 🤍
