In a world that's so big ,we forget our true size within it.
π΄"Little Amazon of Costa Rica"π΄
In Costa Rica you encounter many bugs, animals and insects. From crocodiles to tarantula, Costa Rica has it all, however these little things shouldn't deter you from exploring this amazing place! π₯₯ππ΄
I went to the lower area of the Tortuguero Canal in the village of Barra de Pacuare, on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. I explored the Pacuare Biological Reserve where I was lucky enough to see monkeys π and a poison dart frog πΈ. I road down the Pacuare River where we saw birds native to Costa Rica, along with saw crocodiles half the length of our boat!ππ€
πΈ Did you know that Poison Dart Frogs are naturally tiny? The adult poison dart frog can grow to be as small as .59 inches or 1.5 cm, and their average weight is about 2 grams! It has been documented that some have reached up to 6 cm or 2.4 inches, but for the most part the Poison Dart Frog is a small and toxic creature. It should be noted that they are considerably more toxic than deadly most of the time, however Costa Rica is home to the Golden Poison Dart Frog which has enough poison to kill 10 grown men! πΈ
