The Riverdale Players, a community theatre group, is thrilled to bring you 3 nights of musical theatre that is guaranteed to make you laugh and sing along! "The Mane Event" runs on:
Thursday, January 26 at 7:30 pm
Friday, January 27 at 7:30 pm
Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 pm

The Riverdale Players are thrilled to bring you three nights of music, comedy, and dance, made only more captivating by the

addition of authentic African dancing and drumming! Under the amazing direction of Sarina Belle Condello and incredible musical direction of Sheila Minemoto Philcox, the enthusiasm of this amateur troupe will overwhelm you! All proceeds fund Sarina Condello's charitable programs; The Big Little Caravan of Joy in Africa and The Painted Turtle Arts Camp in Northern Ontario. Wow - our troupe is absolutely blown away to learn that our upcoming "Billy and the Beast" production is totally SOLD OUT! All four nights! We are SO grateful to our family, friends, co-workers and community members who come out each year to support us.

But the real WHY for our show is this is a musical theatre fundraiser. Yes, we sing, act and dance... all for a good cause: Childhood Now!

This year we've set up a GoFundMe campaign to receive donations as a way to give to our charity. If you missed out on tickets, this is another way you can help support our cause. And get a tax receipt too!

We've set an ambitious goal of $10,000 for this effort - and we're about 60% of the way there just 2 weeks away from showtime. With your help, we hope to hit that target and be able to support arts-based program in Northern Ontario through the Painted Turtle Arts Camp and in Africa through The Big Little Caravan of Joy.
